The Pirin Circuit
The journey follows the stunningly beautifully gorge of the Struma River, there is a short visit to Sandanski before reaching Melnik and Rozen with its unique sandstone valley. There is an overnight stay in Melnik. The next day involves a drive via a very scenic road over the foothills of the Pirin Mountain to Gotze Delcev, passing an old roman city to Ognyanovo and Kovachevitza before returning to Bansko.
